History of this event

The 55th Annual Palisade Peach Festival is organized by the Palisade Chamber of Commerce and is set to take place on August 18th and 19th, 2023. The festival has been an annual tradition for the past five decades, and it is an excellent opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the town’s farmers, families, and businesses.

The event takes place at Riverbend Park and features a multitude of activities, such as live music, food vendors, a BBQ throw down, and peach eating contests. On the evening of August 17th, there is a complimentary ice cream social and street dance hosted by the Town of Palisade to kick off the festivities. There is also an orchard farm tour which includes a lunch, fun, and lots of agricultural information. On Saturday morning there is a Lions Club pancake breakfast and a Just Peachy 5K run. The Palisade Peach Fest parade takes place at 9am and from 10am to 8pm there are vendors, food, and games at Riverbend Park. Various dinner options, such as the CBD Farm to Table Dinner and the Feast in the Field Dinner, are also offered on both days. The 55th Annual Palisade Peach Festival is an event for the whole family to enjoy. Held on August 18th-19th, 2023, it is an opportunity for the town of Palisade to celebrate its farmers, families, and businesses that make these world renowned peaches so extraordinary.

If you buy ticket in advance before August 18th, admission to the festival is $15 for adults, $10 for military and seniors, $8 for children, and free for children aged 3 and under. You can also getting a family pass at $40 for 2 adults and 2 children under 12. Buying ticket at the gate will be $3-5 more expensive depending on the ticket you are getting. 

There are different farm to fork dinners and tours offered by the Palisade Peach Festival and additional ticket needs to be bought in advance.  

The festival will be located at Riverbend Park and the gates will open at 12 pm on Friday, with live music from Colorado performers running until 8 pm on Saturday. On Saturday, the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, Just Peachy 5K run, Palisade Peach Fest Parade, vendors, food, drinks, games, and entertainment can all be found at Riverbend Park. 

Best Time to Visit, Parking & Shuttle Service

When planning to visit the Palisade Peach Festival, we suggest you arrive as early as possible, it’s because the parking spot is extremely limited. Earlier you come, the better chance you have at finding a parking spot at Riverbend Park.

Shuttle service is available to and from locations in the town of Palisade (including: Town of Palisade Parking Lots, Peach Bowl Park, North Grand Valley Bank Parking Lot), making it easy to get to the event. Shuttle service will start from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM on Friday and 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM on Saturday.

Performance, Activities and Special Tours & Dinner offered

The 55th Annual Palisade Peach Festival is an event that celebrates the farmers, families, and businesses that make the world-famous peaches from Palisade so amazing.

Before the Festival starts, on Thursday (August 17th), the Town of Palisade will host an ice cream social and street dance on Thursday night to kickstart the festival!

Starting Friday, August 18th and Saturday, August 19th, visitors can attend the main event at Riverbend Park. Here they will find vendors, food trucks, bartenders, games, entertainment, and Safeway Peach Cuisine demos. On Friday, there is a peach chef demonstrating peach cuisine, sounds a lot of fun! Saturday morning starts with a Lions Club Pancake Breakfast and the Palisade Peach Fest Parade. The festival will even feature a Just Peachy 5K Run and contests such as the BBQ Throwdown and Peach Eating contests, which both will be held on Saturday.

There are different tours & special dinner as offered by the festival as below:

  • Here comes the fun of Orchard Farm Tour. It includes a special planned tour, lunch, special tasting at Clark & Co. Distilling and fun. They offer the chance to pick your own juicy peach at Sweet Cheeks Organic Orchards. Buy your ticket at $120 for Friday or Saturday.
  • The Palisade Peach Festival also offers a History of Palisade Orchard Tour on both date, Talbott Farms tour, Sage Creations lunch at Colorado’s Original Lavender Farm at $100. Transportation is provided by Absolute Prestige, and lunch and cider tasting are included. All buses leave Palisade at 10:00 am and return around 4:45 pm.   • If you want to have some special dinner experience, there are two options.
    • Visitors can attend the CBD Farm to Table Dinner at Orchard River View on Friday, at $130. Enjoy a cocktail hour served by the Colorado River and an elegant, field-to-fork dinner experience served inside the magnificent, timber frame, barn!

Three Things you should know before you go!

The 55th Annual Palisade Peach Festival is a celebration of the world-famous peaches and the town of Palisade, Colorado. Taking place on August 18-19, 2023 (Friday and Saturday), the festival welcomes visitors to Riverbend Park for two days of festivities, with vendors, food trucks, live music, and activities for all ages. Prior to the festival officially starting on Friday, there will be free ice cream offered and street dance to kickstart the festival on Thursday.
